Poem : Embers Of Love

I wrote this poem in memory of my ex-girlfriend.We are not together anymore but I still have fond memories of her.

Embers Of Love

All those times that I spent with you,
Were the best moments ever in my life,
Never knew, never loved someone like you before,
Just hearing your voice left me mesmerised.

And how can I forget that monday,
When I met you for the very first time,
Butterflies in my stomach,
It was the best day ever of my life.

And being right next to you,
I couldn't take my eyes off you,
Pinched myself so hard,
If it was a dream then let it go on,
I just wanted and wanted that moment
to really hold on...

And now we're so close yet so far,
It really hurts to see you take a different path,
Although I knew you weren't mine completely,
I still loved you from the very core of my heart.

Looking back at those two years,
All the moments that we shared,
I'm glad that I met you,
You showed me what love was,
So only I know n I know the real meaning of this song.

All those times that I spent with you,
Were the best days ever of my life,
Never knew, never loved someone like you before,
I wish I could be right next to you for just one last time.

The unnecessary debacle after YSR's death

The democratically elected chief minister of Andhra Pradesh,YSR,died in a helicopter crash recently. The state has been without a chief minister ever since.Maybe they've appointed a temporary chief minister but I'm not sure of that. What I do know is that the ruling party in the state is divided upon declaring YSR's son as the next chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. And this is what gets my goat.

It would be very unwise to get carried away by the emotional wave that has swept the people of Andhra Pradesh after the popular YSR's sudden demise and allow his son to take the reigns.India is a democracy and in a democracy there's no place for dynastical form of government.Besides late YSR's son has little or no experience in the politics.

Just because you are the son of a dead chief minister doesn't mean you have the right to succeed him.Not in a democracy.

Naruto Shippuden

I am the biggest fan of Naruto anime:)  And yesterday I saw the latest episodes of Naruto Shippuden: episodes 127 and 128.And they were simply fantabulous.

In the next few episodes we'll see Jiraiya meeting with his former pupil Nagato(Pain).Just to imagine this gives me goosebumps:)

I'm loosing sleep over it already.Hehe.

Bad Days

My second semester exams are going on.Had an exam today morning and I reached the centre 30 minutes late.It was amazing to find that almost every atm machine near my residence was out of service. And when shit like this happens to you so early in the day,you wonder how the rest of it will unfold.

One week ago me and my friend Sagar went to a different city(about 40kms away) to give an interview for a job at IBM bpo service. It took them 7 hours!!! to finish the whole interview process. In the end both of us got selected.Unfortunately the salary they were offering wasn't too appealing. We left IBM and headed for the parking.

At the parking we saw that our bike's rear tyre was flat.Damn! Dragged the bike for almost a kilometre, filled air into the tyre and we're on our way home.

The air went out 3 more times and on the 3rd instance Sagar decided to change the damn tube.150 bucks gone plus 5 litres of sweat!

To end the shittiest day of our lives on a cheerful note we decided to buy beer.On the way to beer shop we were stopped by a traffic police officer. He accused us of entering a one way road the wrong way.All our attempts to plead our innocnce fell on deaf ears. Our lust for beer cost us a ticket of 1150 rupees!!!

With the ticket in one hand and no beer can in the other we left for home.I was wondering what horrible thing could possibly strike us next: an accident, lighting from the sky, terrorist bombing, another over-zealous traffic cop.Hmmm...

We managed to reach home without encountering any more incidents.Phew!

That day was easily the most horrible day of my life and I hope that's the end of it.

Amen.

Blogging

I used to be a total blog-a-holic a few years back when I was on myspace. But it's been a long time since I've blogged mainly coz of lack of an internet connection.

Blogging is impotant for me coz it allows me to pen my thoughts and that really helps emotionally.I'm introvert by nature and I also don't like keeping diaries. The concept of web-blog is something I totally dig. It's also a lot of fun:)
